The Authors Story

About Alexander Idle

Alexander Idle is a father from the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.

For many years, he believed that providing for his family meant putting everyone else's needs ahead of his own. Like many men, he measured his worth through duty, sacrifice, and responsibility.

When the life he had built began to unravel, he found himself confronting questions he had spent years avoiding: Who was he beneath the roles he played? What remained when the expectations were stripped away?

Ah, Look at All the Lonely People was born from those questions.

Written during a period of profound personal change, this memoir is an honest account of loss, growth, and the long journey back to oneself. Through deeply personal reflections, Alexander explores the challenges many men face but seldom discuss openly.

Today, he hopes his story serves as a reminder that no matter how far a person feels they have drifted from themselves, there is always a path forward.
